Spring 2022 Update

With our 4th birthday closing in, we have paused and taken time to reflect on a busy few months! Exploring environments to strengthen futures has taken us across the length of the UK.
They say “variety is the spice of life” and how true this is! In short, we have been supporting a range of projects including residential, commercial, rail and infrastructure. From single storey residential extensions to 400 plot development sites, we have been busy!
From the Outer Hebrides to Heathrow Airport, and from South Wales to Ipswich, we have been assisting hundreds of projects including new highways, substations, bridges, offices, schools, rail projects and temporary works design. We welcome new opportunities for regional collaborative working, and our list of local suppliers continuous to expand. Consequently, if you are interesting in working with Northpoint, we’d like to hear from you, particularly land drilling operatives, land surveyors and laboratory testing facilities.
Our engineering design team is expanding and Northpoint are seeking an ambitious Graduate Engineer or Assistant Engineer. Those interested should have a background in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, Geotechnics or Environmental Management. The position is for our North East office in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear. Since its spring, we have taken the opportunity to give our website a bit of a spring clean! New imagery and updated information has been provided. We have also added new Case Studies and bare with us as this is a work in progress! We welcome your feedback and recommendations for the site.
CPD and training continues to be a priority for the team. From CITB Managers and Professionals qualifications, to First Aid we maintaining high standards onsite inline with good industry practice. We have also maintained our corporate membership of the ICE’s British Geotechnical Association. This keeps us informed of important changes within our sector.
Lastly, we have added new imagery to our fleet vehicles. If you see us out and about on the roads give us a wave!
