Another year over. Time really does fly when you are having fun!
Over the past twelve months, we have been involved with several exciting and interesting projects across the UK. It has been a year of mixed emotions. Since March, the team have adapted well to working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing continued consultancy support to our clients.
Project Involvement
Northpoint will, in due course, announce some exciting news, but for now we would like to share with you what we have been doing throughout our second year:
- Offering continuing support to Local Authorities delivering various capital project schemes. Projects range from the development of schools and commercial premises, highway improvements, assessing redevelopment areas and large sustainable drainage schemes
- Forging new partnerships and collaborate working with other experts particularly focused within the rail industry
- Providing technical advice and support to new clients ranging from home-owners to large corporate organisations
- Delivery of investigation projects within residential, commercial, infrastructure and rail sectors
British Geotechnical Association
We are pleased to announce that Northpoint is now a corporate member of the British Geotechnical Association (BGA). The BGA community opens up new and cutting-edge resources to Northpoint. This allows us to adapt swiftly to changes within our industry, and where necessary call upon other experts in our field.
Health and Safety Accreditation
Above all, health and safety is at the forefront of every decision we make. We will continually seek to improve operations from the design stages through to fieldworks and reporting. Throughout our second year, we successfully achieved Acclaim Accreditation. Northpoint is now registered as Gold level within Constructionline. Consequently, this adds to our previous attainments of RISQS Verified for the railway industry.
